I use the item everyday, and like it so much that I purchased 2 more (1 for myself and 1 as a gift). When worn "messenger style" it completely takes the weight off my back and eliminates the "drop shoulder" on the carrying side like other bags. Outstanding amount of room and size variety of compartments. Only complaint is that it is difficult to access items in the bag when it is being carried, but there is enough room in the outside compartments for frequently used items like change and keys. The leather is buttery soft; inside is a complimenting color and is made of strong satiney materiel.
